ABOUT ME
My name is Shinhee Lee, and I am 2nd year M.S. in urban planning at University of Southern California. My concentration is economic development and I am more interested in economic development in relation to public transit and equitable growth.
I earned my B.A. in Business at Yonsei University, South Korea. After graduation, I worked as a marketing manager for the POSCO, which is a steel manufacturing company based on South Korea. While working in POSCO, I was involved in steel plant investment projects to invest in developing countries and became interested how an industrial planning can significantly impact a community. Eventually, this experience has led me to pursue further study in planning, and over the past few years, I learned how my backgrounds and skills connect to the field of urban planning. I believe my academic and professional work can be the basis of my future career as a planner.
